### Provide Your Own Instructions for the blank 100s chart (Count by 2's, 5's 8's)

One of my favorite worksheets of all time in math is the Hundred's Chart. These charts can be used with learners in grade 1 through to grade 4 or as long as needed.

What can you do with a hundreds chart that is filled in?

- Ask questions like, what number is 10 more than 12, 25, 33, 77...
- Ask questions like, what number is 3 less than, 10 less than, 20 less than...
- Ask questions like how many numbers end in 2? 5? 0? Do you see a pattern?
- What number do you see the most of? How do you know?
- How many numbers are between ______ and ____?
- What patterns do you notice? What do those patterns mean?
- How can you use this chart to help you subtract?
- How can you use this chart to add?
- Give me an example of an addition problem.
- Giveme an example of a subtraction problem.
