All of the changes Eric Bischoff made for WCW in 1994 started to pay dividends in 1995.  Due to their familiar roster, two matches from the Bash at the Beach 1995 pay-per-view were filmed for Baywatch, the number one show in the world at the time.

On the international front, Collission in Korea was a two-day event they di in conjunction with New Japan Pro Wrestling that shattered attendance records.

Over the course of two days, 340,000 fans in North Korea attended the shows, with 160,000 attending on the second day.  The event aired on traditional American pay-per-view several months later in edited form.

However, the big news that took place in 1995 was the debut of Monday Nitro on September 4.  Broadcast from the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the wrestling world changed almost immediately due to the start of "The Monday Night War".
