Experience

Aaron Peters is a writer with a keen interest in open-source software, mobile computing, and plain text. He's always on the lookout for ways to make work more efficient, yet can't seem to help making his side projects more complicated than they need to be.

Aaron has been writing about technology for over 20 years as a management consultant, project manager, and business analyst. Since 2012, he's contributed to technology publications such as Linux Journal, MakeUseOf, and MakeTechEasier.

My Gear

When working, I prefer to use Linux. I run KDE Neon on a 2017 Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition. My main mobile device is a Samsung Note 10+ (in Aura Glow, the only correct color for these phones), and I also have a Windows 10 custom desktop rig primarily as a gaming machine and for file storage. In terms of applications, I can get done most of what I need to with a combination of Google Chrome and the Emacs text editor.

Education

Aaron earned a BSBA in Management and International Business from Villanova University.
