Some schools will want to see ACT scores that are well above average, while others don't require test scores at all. Keep in mind that 25% of enrolled students have scores below those listed, and remember that ACT scores are just one part of the application. The admissions officers in Colorado, especially at the top Colorado colleges will also want to see a strong academic record, a winning essay, meaningful extracurricular activities and good letters of recommendation. Sometimes, a student with high scores (but an otherwise weak application) will not be accepted, while a student with lower scores (but a much stronger application) is accepted. If a school is test-optional, you don't have to submit scores as part of the application--if yours are strong, though, it's a good idea to submit them anyway.
