Realize, of course, that ACT scores are just one part of the application. Some students with high scores may not be accepted to a school, while a student with lower scores may get in. That's because the admissions officers will also want to see a strong academic record, a winning essay, meaningful extracurricular activities and good letters of recommendation. Holistic admissions means that the admissions office will look at more than just scores and grades when considering their decisions.
