Experience

Amelia Hill is a former writer for ThoughtCo who contributed articles for two years that were exclusively about the Star Wars franchise. Her content ranged from exploring the nuances of symbolism in Star Wars to discussing whether the series is sci-fi or fantasy. She also completed in-depth analyses of the characters and their interrelationships as well as writing about many more series topics. Amelia's fascination with Star Wars began at age seven years. It became a hobby, almost an obsession, and she has been watching, studying, and writing about Star Wars since that time.

An investigative journalist by trade, she also published Amelia's Magic Story Series (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, 2015). She originally wrote this series of stories at the age of seven. The set of tales shows the inspiration of her love of Star Wars. The series is comprised of three separate stories and follows the journeys of three children.

Education

Amelia Hill earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism from Colgate University.
