And the Mountains Echoed is Khaled Hosseini's third novel and was rated one of our Best Books of 2013. Once again, Hosseini takes readers to Afghanistan and draws them into family relationships in this war-torn country. The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns were great choices for book clubs, and And the Mountains Echoed is no different. It offers a good story, character depth, history and plenty of discussion topics.
