Barbara Crews is a former writer for ThoughtCo who contributed articles on collecting, collectibles, and memorabilia for more than 16 years. She contributed articles to many of the most prestigious antiques and collectibles magazines in the antiquing industry. These contributions include works appearing in The Antique Trader, Today's Vintage, Collector's Mart, Antique & Collectibles Showcase, and Collectors News. This same group of industry-leading publications profiles her collections and her endeavors. The A&E television show, Incurable Collector, highlighted Barbara and her collections. She even appeared in a commercial for M&M candies. Barbara is the founder of the American Cookie Jar Association (ACJA).


Crews is currently studying to become a certified antiques appraiser.
