M.L.S, Library Science, Indiana University
Bill Lamb is a music and arts writer with decades of experience covering the worlds of pop, rock, and entertainment. He got his start by writing about the history of dance and disco music in 1999. Bill then began writing about music for ThoughtCo (formerly About Education) in 2005. Bill enjoys sharing his passion for and insight into the music world, and he takes pride in pointing his readers to major hits (like Adele's "Rolling In the Deep") long before U.S. pop radio discovers them.
Prior to becoming a music writer, Bill developed the music collection for a large public library. He currently contributes to the Wisconsin Gazette and other local and regional publications.
Bill holds a Master's in Library Science degree from Indiana University.
