Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania accepts 88 percent of students who apply, making it somewhat selective. However, applicants with grades and test scores above average are likely to get in, especially if they have work experience, a list of extracurricular activities, and a strong academic background. Students are encouraged to visit the campus and to contact the admissions office with any questions.

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is a public, four-year university located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. The 282-acre campus supports about 10,000 students with a student/faculty ratio of 21 to 1 and an average lecture class size of 33. Bloomsburg offers 54 bachelor’s degree programs, 45 minors, and 19 graduate programs across their colleges of Business, Education, Liberal Arts, and Science and Technology.

For high-achieving students, Bloomsburg has an Honors Program.

There is plenty to do on campus, as Bloomsburg is home to over 200 student clubs and organizations, including Chess Club, Judo Club, and Scuba Diving Club. Bloomsburg also has a host of intramural sports, 12 fraternities, 14 sororities, and lots of club sports like Rock Climbing, Equestrian, and Ski and Snowboarding.

For intercollegiate athletics, Bloomsburg competes in the NCAA Division II Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The university fields nine men's and nine women's intercollegiate sports.
