Experience

Brad Stephenson is a former writer for ThoughtCo and contributed work for two years. Born in Sydney, Australia, Brad moved to Tokyo, Japan in 2003 to experience the country and culture he had seen in so many of his favorite anime series growing up. He lives in Nakano Ward, Tokyo, where you can find the famous Nakano Broadway, a popular destination for anime enthusiasts. 

Ever since the early stages of the internet in the late 90s, Brad has been a constant presence in the online anime community, being involved in numerous anime fansites and projects. Now older and wiser, he writes about anime, tech, gaming, travel, geek culture, and other topics for publications such as Lifewire, Stevivor, WinBeta.org, and Metropolis magazine.
