Admissions Chances Butler University, which accepts just over two-thirds of applicants, has a somewhat competitive admissions process. If your SAT/ACT scores and GPA are within the school's average ranges, you have a strong chance of being accepted. Keep in mind, however, that Butler also has a holistic admissions process, and admissions decisions are based on more than numbers. A strong application essay and a rigorous course schedule can strengthen your application, as can participation in meaningful extracurricular activities. Butler also offers applicants the opportunity to submit optional letters of recommendation and an activity and honors resume to add to their application.
