Parasitic Yeast Infestation

Candida Albicans is a yeast infestation, from a parasite that thrives in warm-blooded animals. In the allopathic world of medicine it is referred as a fungus. This fungus can cause thrush and vaginal infections and spread to any part of the body that is weakened. We all have intestinal candida and when in balance it helps maintain and aid our immune system by controlling the unfriendly organisms. However, Candida Albicans takes advantage of circumstances in the body.

This single cell fungi multiplies and develops toxins which circulate in the blood stream which cause an array of maladies.

Candida produces an alcohol called ethanol producing an intoxicating effect in the blood if the count level is too high. Ethanol grows rapidly when yeast has a food source like white sugar or white floor products. In severe cases it produces much more than the liver can oxidize and eliminate. It can produce a false estrogen and make the body think it has enough, which signals the body to cease production. Or send messages to the thyroid, making it think it has enough stopping the production of thyroxin. The cause of this is menstrual problems and hypothyroid problems.

Another byproduct is acetaldehyde and it is related to formaldehyde this disrupts collagen production, fatty acid oxidation and blocks normal nerve functions. Basically it interferes with the normal functions of the entire body and is a severe problem.

One way to get an overdose of candida in the system is by taking antibiotics and birth control pills, and consuming sugar products. Candida feeds on antibiotics (it is their food source). Other causes: cortisone, progesterone suppositories, faulty diets, diet, too much meat, weakened immune systems, and high-mercury levels from mercury fillings.

The Yeast Connection, A Medical Breakthrough by Dr. William G. Crook, MD and Dr. Sidney Baker, MD is a good book to read to understand completely how candida impacts your system and causes disease.

List of Nutrient Destroyers:

  • Aspirin--destroys vitamin A, calcium, potassium, B complex and C.
  • Caffeine--destroys vitamin B1, inositol and biotin, potassium and zinc and prevents calcium and iron assimilation.
  • Chlorine in water--destroys vitamin E.
  • Chocolate--contains caffeine and it is very irritating to the kidneys. High in fat, which can cause indigestion.
  • Fluoride--destroys vitamin C
  • Sleeping Pills--destroy folic acid and vitamin D.
  • Menstruation--requires extra iron, vitamin B12, calcium and magnesium.
  • Nitrates/Nitrites--Destroys vitamins A, C and E
  • Stress--Physical, emotional and mental all vitamins are depleted.
  • Sugar and White Flour--destroys B vitamins.

Overgrowth of Candida

Many times clients come to me because their doctors are unable to determine the cause of their illness. As I gaze into their bodies I see a white foamy substance, which is candida. It grows everywhere in the heart, brain, kidneys, and lungs and most often in the intestines. Listed below are some symptoms from an over growth of Candida in the physical body.

Please don¹t assume you have candida, seek out a professional for diagnosis.

Recommended Dietary Changes

The best way to get a handle on Candida is to change your diet.

Foods to Avoid: Stop eating sugar of all kinds, white flour (breads and pastries), no diet drinks, no alcoholic beverages, all mushrooms, and other pickled products, fermented foods, all dry roasted nuts (cashews have a lot of yeast), potato chips, pretzels and junk food, bacon, salt pork and lunch meats and cheese of all kinds. Stop eating food that feeds the yeast. If you can eliminate antibiotics, birth control pills and all drugs please do so.

Boost Your Immune System: Build your immune system by using herbs, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and other necessary supplements. Us occasionally fruits in small amounts, raw seeds, dry beans and legumes, millet, brown rice, buckwheat and yellow cornmeal and baked potatoes.

Foods to Eat: Daily are eggs, fish, chicken, lamb or veal (organically fed animals are better). Good vegetable choices are onions, garlic, cabbage, broccoli, turnips, and brussels sprouts, and kohlrabi.

Supplements: Stay as simple as possible. Take liquid or capsules of mineral, and vitamins rather than tablets, a good digestive enzyme, flax seed oil daily in the evening, acidophilus 2-3x a day, vitamin E, B-complex, and A. Get Green Magma (available at and follow the directions. Rebuild your body. Tackling candida can be challenging but it can be accomplished. I recommended Aqua-Flora ( phase one and phase two.
