Chad Bowar is a former writer for ThoughtCo who contributed articles about heavy metal music for more than 10 years. Chad has more than 19 years of experience writing about music, travel and other subjects. He also has more than 17 years of experience as a radio personality.

Chad earned a Bachelor Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of South Dakota.
