Chris Tomlin Songs

With 20 Dove Award wins as of 2013, by the numbers, Chris Tomlin is the most often sung contemporary artist in U.S. congregations every week (about 40 million). CCLI says that this makes him the most sung artist anywhere. He also has more songs on CCLI's chart than anyone else in the world. These Chris Tomlin songs, along with the award winners, highlight my personal favorite ones.

This wonderful worship song is 110% God focused and when Louie Gigilio reads a portion of Psalm 136, it truly takes it over the top.

From the song ...

Give thanks to the Lord our God and King
His love endures forever
For He is good, He is above all things
His love endures forever

"Take My Life"

Passion Sacred Revolution
Passion Sacred Revolution. Sparrow - Sixstep

Found on Passion's Sacred Revolution: Songs from OneDay 03, which was held in May 2003 in Sherman, Texas, Chris spends a little over seven minutes asking God to take his life and mold it to make him the best possible vessel for Christ.

Chris gives this Matt Maher song a rock touch that you can't help but love.

From 2013's Burning Lights, "Countless Wonders" is a beautiful ode to our Lord that will touch your heart, soul and spirit.

"Let Your Mercy Rain" is classic Chris Tomlin -- easy to listen to and easy to sing along with.

Imagine sitting down with Chris Tomlin and his guitar and just listening to him worship. That's the sound and the feel that you get with "Over Me." Very personal worship at its finest.

"Enough," from Not to Us, was covered by BarlowGirl as quite the rocker. Tomlin's version has more of a "college rock" type of sound, but the impact is still there -- hands down.

From Passion: One Day Live, "You Are My King (Amazing Love)" is one of those songs that takes you straight to the throne no matter where you are when you hear it.

The anthem for a generation, a church body, a family and a soul, "Awesome Is The Lord Most High" covers it all.

The live recording of this song, done at a Passion conference, for me, is even better than the studio recording. You feel like you're right there, surrounded by thousands of other worshippers for eight glorious minutes.
