Christmas is a time for caring and sharing. It is a time of celebration and joy. Experience the enjoyment with your students by partaking in few fun Christmas lessons and activities.

Christmas Activities

Have a holly, jolly Christmas in your classroom by trying a few of these fun activities.

Santa's Helper

  • Post a wanted ad sign in your classroom and tell students that Santa is in need of their help. Instruct each student in class to apply for the job by writing a letter to Sana explaining explaining their qualifications to him. Then, invite each student to mail their letter to Santa.

    Christmas Tree Glyph

    • Increase students' critical thinking skills by having them create a Christmas tree glyph. Give each student a Christmas tree cutout, along with a variety of different colored ornaments. Each color represents something. For example, if they are a girl they would glue a pink ornament onto their tree, if they have a sister they would glue a red ornament onto their tree, if they like to dance they would glue a white bell onto their tree, and so on. You can get creative and have a star represent something, or a gingerbread etc.
