Cindy Pierson Dulay is a former writer for ThoughtCo, contributing articles for 19 years. Her photo of Stephan's Angel leaping in the air before the Miss Preakness Stakes in 2004 won an Eclipse Award for the best thoroughbred racing photograph in North America that year. A well-established member of the racing media for her online coverage, she started the web's first collection of worldwide horse racing links in 1994. She has owned horses as part of Cyberspace Racing Team and is owner and editor of Horse-Races.Net, which provides racing results.


Cindy Pierson Dulay has a bachelor's degree in computer science and physics from The University of Alabama.
