French DJ and dance pop artist David Guetta delivered some of the most crowd-pleasing music of Coachella 2015. During his opening weekend set, the Black Eyed Peas joined him onstage to debut the new song "This Is Awesome" and also revisit their multi-platinum collaboration with David Guetta "I Gotta Feeling." On weekend two, Nicki Minaj joined David Guetta for their collaborative single "Hey Mama" that is currently climbing pop charts.

Hozier

Hozier capitalized on the success of his breakthrough hit single "Take Me To Church" to captivate the crowds as he closed his sets on both weekends with the song. He also delivered a surprise performance of the Time's 1980s hit single "Jungle Love" with Este Haim of the sister group Haim during the festival's first weekend.

Stromae

 It looks like Belgian artist Stromae could be on the verge of a US breakthrough. His song "Meltdown" was featured last fall on the soundtrack to the film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. In March he appeared at Austin's South By Southwest Festival. At Coachella 2015 Stromae delivered two highly buzzed about performances. He was also joined onstage by Kanye West in the festival's second weekend.

AC/DC

Veteran Australian rock band AC/DC bore the standard for rock at Coachella 2015. It was their first live concert performances in six years, and they did not disappoint the crowd. The well-received appearances come on the heels of last fall's top three charting album Rock or Bust and the group's opening of this year's Grammy Awards ceremonies.

Drake and Madonna

It may not have been accompanied by anything particularly memorable musically, but the aggressive kiss / makeout session Madonna delivered with rapper Drake certainly caught a lot of attention. It's unclear whether the event did much for either career however. Drake's performances were considered underwhelming for one of the world's top selling current recording artists.

Florence and the Machine

Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine delivered one of the most energetic and acclaimed performances of Coachella's first weekend. Unfortunately, amidst all of the energy she broke her foot. Despite having to be carried onstage on weekend two, she still gave another stellar performance encouraging fans to do the jumping for her.

The Weeknd

Still enjoying the success of his breakthrough hit single "Earned It" from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, The Weeknd proved he is a rising star to be noticed. During weekend two he was joined by Kanye West who promptly took over the stage for a few songs. The surprise pairing was one of the can't miss moments of the entire Coachella 2015 festival.

Marina and the Diamonds

Marina Diamandis came to Coachella 2015 to promote her well-received new album Froot and she did not disappoint the crowds. She wore fruit on her head during the first weekend with a shiny green dress while on the second week she was resplendent in a big white skirt. Her performance was one of the festival's highlights for pop fans.

Alabama Shakes

Southern rock and soul outfit Alabama Shakes mesmerized audiences at Coachella 2015 with songs from their upcoming second album Sound & Color hitting stores April 21, 2015. The group's lead vocalist and guitarist Brittany Howard confidently commands the crowd into following her every note.

DJ Snake

DJ Snake brought special guests AlunaGeorge and Mo to the stage on Coachella's first weekend to the delight of crowds. During the second weekend he turned in a hip hop direction with veteran rapper DMX and the duo Rae Sremmurd. DJ Snake is currently climbing the charts with AlunaGeorge on the single "You Know You Like It."
