Students with good grades and test scores above average have a decent chance of being admitted--especially with added extracurricular activities, a variety of coursework, and strong writing skills. The application to Saint Elizabeth consists of an application form, SAT or ACT scores (either is acceptable), letters of recommendation, and a 1-2 page personal essay. Students are also encouraged to visit campus and schedule an in-person interview with an admissions counselor. Originally a women's college, the school now provides opportunities for both genders. CSE offers courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education levels, with a number of degrees and programs from which to choose. CSE also hosts an Honors Program--one that offers distinct honors seminars as well as advanced sections of other core courses within the college. Only about an hour away from New York City, CSE is a great place for students interested in experiencing a large city's culture, without living there. The college contains an art gallery, full fitness center, drama studio, and other facilities for education and recreation. Students are able to join a wide variety of clubs and organizations, ranging from academic, to cultural, to performing arts. If students are interested in a club that is not already in existence, they are encouraged to start one. The College's athletic teams--The Eagles--are members of the NCAA Division III, within the North East Athletic Conference.
