College of Saint Rose Description:

The College of Saint Rose is an independent, Roman Catholic college located in Albany, New York. The campus is situated in an urban setting within walking distance of the city’s various cultural and recreational offerings, and students also have access to several nearby natural attractions, including the Hudson Valley and the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains. Academically, the College of Saint Rose has a student faculty ratio of 14 to 1 and offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs within the Schools of Arts and Humanities, Business, Education and Mathematics and Sciences.

Some of the more popular programs include business administration, childhood education, communication sciences and disorders and educational leadership and administration. Students are involved in campus life, participating in more than 30 clubs and organizations and an active campus ministry program that facilitates a variety of spiritual and service-oriented programs.

The College of Saint Rose Golden Knights compete in the NCAA Division II Northeast-10 Conference.
