20 Common OCI Interview Questions

If you're headed into OCI, you want to be prepared, and this includes knowing what interview questions you can expect. Not every interview goes the same way, of course, so you may or may not get asked the following questions, but you should at least have answers prepared for them so you're not caught off-guard.

  5. Why do you think you'd make a good lawyer?
  6. What is your biggest weakness?
  7. Do you like working on your own or on a team?
  8. How do you handle criticism?
  9. What is your proudest achievement?
  10. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
  11. Do you consider yourself competitive?
  12. What have you learned from work experiences/student activities?
  13. Have you ever withdrawn from a class?
  14. What do you know about this firm?
  15. Why do you want to work at this firm?
  16. What areas of law interest you most?
  17. What types of books do you like to read?
  18. Do you have any questions?
