Little Texas has a classic party song about standing up for yourself and not letting anyone hold you back. It's got a great country rock beat with a definite emphasis on screaming guitars. Porter Howell sings lead on this rockin' tempo song, and the rest of the band chimes in with the classic Little Texas harmonies on the chorus. This song is great fun!

This is definitely one of Big & Rich's most popular songs. The song is a mid-tempo mixture of styles, with prominent banjo, and electric guitars, with a strong percussion line. Both Big Kenny and John Rich take turns with the verses. While John sings his, Kenny recites his. Then, add the crowd singalong, and this is just pure fun!

"No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" - Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney - 'No Shoes No Shirt No Problems'
Kenny Chesney - 'No Shoes No Shirt No Problems'. BNA Nashville

This was one of the first of Kenny Chesney's island-themed singles. The song has a laid back feel, telling the story of not having a care while you spend your time in an island paradise. You can almost smell the coconut oil as the steel guitar plays, and Kenny sings along in an easygoing manner. Adding to the island feel of the song, be sure listen for steel drums playing softly in parts. The track has a live feel to it, rather than being over produced, which definitely fits the relaxed theme.

Gretchen Wilson - 'Here for the Party'
Gretchen Wilson - 'Here for the Party'. Sony Nashville
Gretchen Wilson's "Here for the Party" is a true blue collar anthem that is sure to get everyone up on their feet. This guitar-driven song features Gretchen's raw and honest vocals leaving no question that she's here to enjoy herself and have a good time. The tempo is a quick one, and the track lacks the overproduction that can sometimes happen with CDs nowadays. And that's a good thing.

"It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere" - Alan Jackson

Alan Jackson - 'Greatest Hits II'
Alan Jackson - 'Greatest Hits II'. Arista Nashville

The song has a easy-going tempo, and Alan Jackson's smooth baritone tells the story of a day at work passing way too slow, and needing it to be 5 o'clock, so he can leave and go get some cool refreshment. Jimmy Buffett also makes an appearance towards the end of the song. It wouldn't be an Alan Jackson song if it didn't include steel guitars, fiddles and mandolins, and all play a part in this song. Raise a glass and sing along.
