5 Cute Kids Who Became 'Internet Famous' In 2014

They're cute, they're funny, and they're web superstars.

Lots of people take cute videos of their kids and upload them to YouTube or another social media site, and some of those clips even end up going viral on the internet.  However, once in a while the kids in those videos are so charismatic and entertaining that the world takes a special interest in them, and that's when they truly become internet famous.

Remember David After Dentist and Charlie Bit My Finger?  Those kids became so well-known on the web that their videos likely put them through college or gave them a cushy trust fund to fall back on for their entire lives.  How cool is that?  Meanwhile the rest of us are working for a living, like a bunch of chumps.

Check out the newest funny kiddos who became 'internet famous' in 2014. If you're looking for a glimpse into their lives after web stardom, check out The People Behind The Memes: Where Are They Now?

Reporter Sofia Ojeda was conducting interviews at the Wayne County Fair in Pennsylvania when she stumbled across the next big kid YouTube star.  Five year-old Noah Ritter from Wilkes-Barre may have never been on television before, but he still managed to steal the show. Once he got that microphone in his chubby little hands he got very chatty, and he dropped the word "apparently" at least a dozen times.

After the clip was viewed ten million times in just its first four days online, Noah made the talk show rounds and even got his own autotune song.  I'm sure this isn't the last time we'll see Noah. More »

Three year-old Scarlett-Rose Davis became an internet superstar when she had a hilarious but inappropriate reaction to having a bucket of ice water dumped over her head.  After taking part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, little Scarlett-Rose let loose a string of (NSFW) profanity that would make a trucker blush.

"Fookin' 'ell," indeed!

Scarlett-Rose later issued a pseudo-apology, which you can see here.

The good news is that thanks to help from Scarlett-Rose and everyone else who participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge, ALS research has progressed by leaps and bounds in the past few years. Good job, Scarlett-Rose! More »

This little boy's mother just informed him that she's going to have another baby, and he is not pleased.  Displaying far more sass and a much better vocabulary than one would expect from a child his age, he proceeds to tell his mom off in this quick video.

Best lines: "This is exasperating!" and "What was you thinking? You just have to get another baby?  You just had two!" More »

"Linda, honey, just listen."

It was these pleading words that made America sit up and take notice of five year-old Mateo Beltran from San Jose, CA.  The video clip, uploaded to YouTube by the boy's mother Linda, went seriously viral once people got a load of Mateo's superior arguing skills.

Mateo went on to star in a guest appearance on Ellen, where he did indeed get spoiled with many, many cupcakes.

Good thing his family is now making money off of t-shirts and other Mateo merchandise, because I have a feeling they're going to need it to send him through law school someday. More »

You might remember this kid from my list of the funniest dancing kids you'll ever see.  This young baseball fan totally went nuts when he caught a glimpse of himself on the JumboTron, sticking his tongue out, lifting up his shirt, and gyrating his hips like a crazy man.  Correction, a hilarious crazy man.
