Dana Lynch



  • Dana Lynch was the lead writer and blogger for Tourism Vancouver's "Inside Vancouver" from 2009 to 2012 and the writer for CNN's "Insider Guide to Vancouver" in 2012.
  • Born in the Pacific Northwest, Lynch has lived in Vancouver most of her life, but she currently resides in Seattle, Washington.


Dana Lynch is a writer who has written as a Vancouver travel expert for a number of sites and organizations, including Tourism Vancouver and CNN Travel.

Lynch was raised between many cities and has spent her adulthood traveling from the east to west coasts of the United States and Canada. After graduating from Smith College with a Bachelor's degree, Lynch started as a headline writer for Microsoft before starting with CNN and Tourism Vancouver.

Lynch wrote and edited guidebooks to various cities and served as a content editor for two non-profit projects at the University of Washington. 


Lynch has a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
