Dave White's mantra, "Don't forget to boogie!," was born during a career in radio, nurtured while working in music television, and continues to govern his work as a freelance writer.
As a freelance music journalist, Dave has covered events like the Bonnaroo Music Festival and interviewed artists such as Steve Winwood, Ray Manzarek (The Doors), Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Donovan, and Todd Rundgren. His passion for writing and music also led to a career in music television, where he coordinated the production of music "infotainment" shows for a Nashville-based production company.
Who knew? When I first became associated with rock as something more than a fan, I was just a kid having a good time and getting paid for it. Little did I know that we were making music history. Long live rock. And don't forget to boogie!
