David Nusair

David Nusair a former writer for ThoughtCo who has been obsessed with films his whole life. He began writing about movies his first year of college when he began submitting movie reviews for Carleton University's student paper, The Charlatan.

In the years since he graduated university, David has contributed movie-related articles to a wide variety of publications and websites including Apollo Guide, Ask Men, and Exclaim! and has been maintaining his own movie-review website "Reel Film Reviews" since 1995. Additionally, David Nusair has been a member of the Online Film Critics Society since 2002 and is an Approved Tomatometer Critic for Rotten Tomatoes.

David Nusair specializes in reviewing animated films; in fact, his favorite movie of 2009 was "Up," and he also enjoyed the film "Cars."


Nusair earned a Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies from Carleton University in Ottowa, Canada.
