Supersaturated or Supercooling is the condition in which a liquid has been cooled to a temperature below that at which crystallization normally would occur, without the solid resulting.

Example of Supercooling or Supersaturated

Water may be supercooled or supersaturated several degrees past its freezing point without ice forming, as long as no dust or other crystallization points are available.
