Shaw Dumbo on Drum

Hake's Americana & Collectibles

There are several Dumbo jars in a similar pose, with Dumbo on a drum, but this is one of the rarer pieces.

From Hakes, this is among the rarest Disney cookie jars. It is pictured in Disneyana Collectors Guide To California Pottery by Frick & Hodge, but because of its rarity, it is listed without a value. From the Bruce Cervon Collection, this jar is 9.5" tall. Its pre-auction estimate is $2000 to $5000 and its auction price is $862.50. Regarding condition, some red cold paint is missing and there is some crazing.
