Disney's High School Musical on Ice:

Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour was inspired by the Disney Channel Original Movie, "High School Musical," and "High School Musical 2: and was one of Disney On Ice's most popular skating shows.

Three Touring Shows:

Three different tours traveled throughout the United States and perform on ice.

Shows also toured Canada, Europe, and Mexico.

Skating Celebrities Featured :

Former Olympic, world, and national competitors and professional ice show skaters and stars were featured in the show.

Cast:

The cast of each Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour included about thirty-four figure skaters and seven principal skaters.

One of the cast members was Sandy Rucker, who performed as a stunt double in the Disney movie "Ice Princess."

Rehearsals:

Intense rehearsals took place in July of each year in Lakeland, Florida to prepare for the show. Ten to twelve hours of rehearsals took place on a daily basis.

Choreographer:

Cindy Stuart was the choreographer for Disney’s High School Musical: The Ice Tour. Stuart has done the choreography for world and Olympic figure skating champions. She has performed in Ice Follies and Ice Capades.

Dancing on Ice:

The figure skaters performed in Disney’s High School Musical: The Ice Tour dance on the ice in a way that was fun and entertaining.
