Not all law schools have acceptance rates in the single digits, nor does every law school require a perfect LSAT score or a straight "A" average. The following ten ABA-accredited schools are considered the easiest law schools to get into because they have the highest acceptance rates. All ten schools accept more than two-thirds of applicants, and their students have significantly lower median LSAT scores and GPAs than students at more competitive programs. If you have a less than ideal LSAT score or lots of Bs on your transcript, you still have a good chance of getting into one of these law schools.

The Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University offers nine concentrations for J.D. students, including Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Litigation. For students hoping to start their own practice, the school has a General Practice concentration. WMU offers great flexibility for students with other commitments in their lives: along with a traditional three-year program, students can choose from an accelerated two-year program and part-time three-, four-, and five-year programs. Weekend and evening classes are also an option, and even the location is flexible, with campuses in Grand Rapids, Lansing, Tampa Bay, Kalamazoo, and Auburn Hills.

Vermont Law School

Located in the small New England town of South Royalton, Vermont Law School is best known for its social justice and environmental law programs. As students gain hands-on experience, they can choose from the Energy Clinic, Environmental Advocacy Clinic, Food and Agriculture Clinic, and numerous externship opportunities. With a history dating back to 1883, Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, has the distinction of being the first law school in the Pacific Northwest. Willamette Law is proud of its small classes and strong employment outcomes. Samford University's Cumberland School of Law takes advantage of its location in Birmingham, Alabama, a legal hub in the Southeast with plenty of opportunities for externships. Roger Williams University School of Law

If you want to go to law school in Rhode Island, you have one choice: the Roger Williams University School of Law. The waterfront campus on Bristol Point is just 20 miles from downtown Providence and about an hour drive from Boston. The school guarantees every qualified student a significant clinical experience. The in-house options include immigration, veterans disability appeals, business start-ups, and criminal defense. For externship experience, students can spend a semester in locations across the United States or choose a nearby experience working with organizations such as the Fenway Sports Group, the Rhode Island Family Court, and Save the Bay.

New England Law

New England Law's location in downtown Boston puts it close to the Massachusetts State House, Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, Government Center, the Financial District, and a wide range of courts and law firms. The school has strong programs in public interest law and family law, and Princeton Review ranked the school #3 in the category of "Greatest Resources for Women." New England Law gives students clinical and externship opportunities as early as the beginning of the second year, and 43% of students complete two or more clinics/externships.

Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law

NKU Chase College of Law offers a traditional three-year J.D. program as well as four-year part-time programs that meet either three days a week or two nights per week. Located in Highland Heights, the school provides its students with easy access to all the law and government agencies of the greater Cincinnati region. Service is an important part of a Chase law degree, and all students must complete at least 50 hours of pro bono legal work to graduate. Other hands-on opportunities include legal clinics in Children's Law, Constitutional Litigation, Small Business and Nonprofit Law, the Kentucky Innocence Project, and the Sixth Circuit US Court of Appeals in Cincinnati.

The University of Puerto Rico's Law School can be an ideal choice for students interested in legal work that bridges Anglo and Latin cultures. Located on the Rio Piedras Campus—one of UPR's 11 campuses—students have easy access to the capital city of San Juan and all of its legal opportunities. Note that most classes will be taught in Spanish, although many assignments can be completed in English.

U.S. News & World Report ranked Seattle University School of Law #2 in the country for Legal Writing and #21 for its part-time law programs. The school requires three semesters of legal writing, and students have the opportunity to work on real legal cases as early as the first year. The first-year Legal Writing, Skills, & Values class prepares students for later experiential courses and future professions. The Real Clients in the First Year program gives first-year students hands-on experience in one of the school's centers, its clinic, or a nonprofit partner in the Seattle area.

The acceptance rate alone doesn't tell the whole story about selectivity. If a school gets thousands of applicants with weak credentials, it could have a relatively low acceptance rate but still be fairly easy to get into for a qualified student.
