East Tennessee State University Admissions Overview:

Admissions at East Tennessee State are not highly competitive. Students with solid grades and good test scores have a good chance of being successful. To apply, students must submit official scores from the SAT or ACT. Additional materials include an online application and high school transcripts. East Tennessee State Description:

East Tennessee State University is a public university located in Johnson City, Tennessee, a community nestled among the mountains in the northeast corner of the state. The university is made up of six colleges, and undergraduates can choose from 112 academic programs. Students can also participate in some of ETSU's more than 170 campus organizations, many of which emphasize service and leadership.

High achieving student should check out the Honors College both for the opportunity to receive full scholarship support and special academic opportunities. In athletics, the ETSU Buccaneers compete in the NCAA Division I Southern Conference. Both men's and women's basketball has met with recent successes.

Other popular choices include softball, baseball, track and field, tennis,and soccer.
