Founded in 1919, the College began as a training school for women; in 2001, it became co-educational. The 17-acre campus sits in the heart of the city nearby popular tourist sites such as Fenway Park and the Museum of Fine Arts. It is also a member of the Colleges of the Fenway Consortium with Simmons College, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Wentworth Institute of Technology and Wheelock College.
