One of Eureka’s most notable alumni is Ronald Reagan, for whom they have named their competitive scholarship program in leadership. Eureka has also graduated seven governors and members of Congress. A small, private liberal arts college, Eureka has a wealth of history, small class sizes, and a 14 to 1 student / faculty ratio. Student life at Eureka is active and includes a fraternity and sorority system. On the athletic front, the Eureka Red Devils compete in the NCAA Division III St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The college fields nine men's and eight women's intercollegiate sports.
