Linsey Godfrey, who plays "It Girl" Caroline Spencer on "The Bold and the Beautiful," was discovered by a talent manager at the age of 15. It wasn't long before she decided to get serious about acting and moved to Hollywood. She quickly began being booked in guest-starring roles on such TV shows as "One Tree Hill," "NCIS," "Cold Case,"  "The Suite Life on Deck, "  "CSI: Miami" and "Wizards of Waverly Place."  She landed a recurring role on "Surface." She had drama in real life when she discovered she had Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2006 but beat the disease after several months of treatment.

Here's the 411 on Godfrey.

1. Born: July 25, 1988

2. Hometown: Stuart, Florida

3. Nickname: "My whole family calls me Linsey-loo or any version of my name generally."

4. What were you like in high school?: "I was kind of a loner, but I also was in trouble constantly."

5. How does that compare to now?: "I think I'm the same. I'm kind of a loner and I'm always in trouble.  [laughs] No, I'm still the same. I spend a lot of time by myself. I have a very small, core group of friends and I don't go out that much. I got in trouble all the time in high school for talking so much and I still talk a lot."

6.  Favorite book: "Game of Thrones"

7. Favorite movie: "Amelie"

8.  Favorite primetime TV show: "The Walking Dead"

9. Inspirational actors: Gary Oldman and Helena Bonham Carter

10. Favorite song: "Where Is My Mind" by the Pixies

11. First car: Honda Civic

12. Favorite workout: Pilates and cardio barre

13. Favorite food: Sushi

14. Favorite piece of clothing: Shoes

15. Favorite gizmo: iPad

16. What qualities does Caroline have that you like playing?: "I like that she's funny. I really enjoy that part. I love that they've written her to be so funny. I like that she's straightforward. She tends to be very honest. She's not being manipulative; she's usually very straightforward and she'll tell exactly what she's thinking.

I find those traits all land parallel with Linsey. I like those aspects of her."

17. Favorite charity: "Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I myself a cancer survivor. I beat Hodgkin's lymphoma ... and it's very close to my heart. I love what they do over there."

18. Tattoos: "I have a tattoo of my cancer ribbon. I drew it and my mom and both of my big sisters have it as well."

19. First big break: "When I was 17, I booked a recurring role on the show called 'Surface.'  It was a five-episode thing and then the show, unfortunately, got canceled. But it was very cool. It was the first time that I ever saw I had made a step."

20. Odd jobs: "A stream of odd jobs. None when I was actually out here. I was a ranch hand but that was when I was in Florida.  I'd go home in the summer and I was a ranch hand for two summers.  When I was out here, I was a nanny."

21. Favorite storyline on "B & B":  "A Caroline story? I really did like playing her when she was a little bit crazy. That was a lot of fun for me. They just let me come in and do whatever I wanted to do. They didn't really know how I was going to say things a lot of the time and that was fun. My favorite moment that I've gotten to do is when she was acting out Maya and Carter's scene for Raphael and then when she did the whole water bed gag."

22. What makes you smile?: "That's a fun question.  I smile a lot.  I'm generally a happy person."

23. Favorite travel destination:  "I like being next to the water at all times. I really loved being in Sorrento, [Italy], which is out on the water."

24. Pet peeves: "I don't like mouth noises like when people chomp their gum.  I really don't like that.  I don't like inconsistent noise like a tapping or a clicking or anything like that, that will really drive me crazy."

25. Favorite quote:  "I have two quotes tattooed on my body.  One says: 'Love has the patience to endure the faults we cannot cure.'  Another one says: 'My master now is my own happiness.' So I kind of like those, not to be taken super, super literal, just kind of doing what makes you happy and knowing that love has the power to endure anything really."
