Florida Memorial University Description: Located in Miami Gardens, Florida, Florida Memorial University is a four-year, private Baptist university and the only historically Black college in Southern Florida. St. Thomas University is just a few blocks away. Florida Memorial supports about 1,700 students with a student / faculty ratio of 16 to 1.
