Free Online GED Practice Tests

One of the best ways to ensure you are ready to take the test is to take advantage of all of the GED practice tests available on the Internet. Take them all! Some offer sample questions in an effort to get you to buy products, but you don't have to buy anything to use the practice tests.

McGraw-Hill publishes one of the most consistently popular GED guides. Its website offers a GED practice math test.

Peterson's has been providing education resources of all kinds for 40 years, including GED prep. In addition to sample GED questions, it offers "Master the GED" products for sale, including study guides, CDs, books of practice tests, and test tips.

PBS LiteracyLink is a partnership between the Public Broadcasting Service and Kentucky's Department of Education. The site offers two questions on each of the five parts of the GED test.​​

GED Academy offers a free GED practice test covering all five parts of the GED test. Once you have your results, you can decide if you want to purchase the company's GED study guide, GED Smart, or hire your own personal GED mentor, or teacher. But the practice test is free.
