Many theaters offer free or cheap movies for kids during the summer. With money being so tight these days, the summer movie series are sure to be a hit. Here's a listing of theaters offering summer specials for kids. Many offer a discount on popcorn and other concessions. Be sure to check your local theaters for specific showings.

Regal Theaters Summer Movie Express used to be free but now costs $1 admission. The summer movie program at Regal theaters (as well as United Artists and Edwards Theaters) lets kids and their parents see popular kids movies for cheap at hundreds of Regal's theaters around the country.

The cheap summer movies at Regal play June through August for 9 weeks. They're shown at 10 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday.

Ten fun films for kids showing during the summer at 10 a.m. All 10 movies can be purchased in advance for $5.00, or can be purchased separately at the box office for $1.00 per show.
