Gemini Rising

Gemini Rising guys and gals have socially jittery personalities.  Though they may have other stable Sun sign traits, they lead with an ensemble of many personae.

One common challenge for Gemini is to feel a strong sense of self, and this is true also for Gemini Rising.  But being so changeable is also a gift, as it allows you to mix with a great variety of people.

You're drawn to busy scenes with a lot of coming and going, like restaurants.

You also thrive in fast-paced media environments, since you're one to go with the flow of the new.

If this is your Rising Sign, you come across as curious and light-hearted.  Keep in mind that the Rising Sign is your way of moving through life -- your style, quirks, responses, and the impression you make.

Gemini is the lightest of the air signs, for a personality that's hard to pin down.  That levity makes you a fun friend, and not one to get stuck in a groove.

On the other hand, foks might not know where you stand on anything, as you tend to see from many angles.  You might not think much of saying one thing and then contradicting yourself later.

But employers or clients could take note of this, and wonder if you'll stand by your word.  This is a tricky thing, since you really are that trustworthy.  On critical issues, though, you'll want to strive for some consistency, to win trust.

Novelty

The Gemini rising is chatty, and always looking at life through new angles.

You’re naturally social, and a great mingler since you know what’s interesting to share. You get into mischief when your need to know runs wild and turns into negative gossip. Mostly, you’re just curious about people, and that comes across as you quickly collect many acquaintances.

This is a mutable Rising Sign, and that makes you adaptable to other people.

You're able to change with new information, but may be overly impressionable that way, running with every new fascination.

You’re full of contradictions, and this may make it hard for others to trust you. You can be a wicked gossip if you use your gift for the gap in a negative way.  The extremes of this show up as the Gemini Dark Side, when acerbic wit turns destructive.

You get mean if you're bored, like in work situations that are repetitive.  Gemini-style depression happens when there's stagnation of the mind, and you feel like you're in an airless room.

You mean what you say, but quickly see many sides to one issue, and can play your own Devil’s Advocate. It takes time to reconcile these many threads, and to find a singularity of thought. You’re a synthesizer of information, and this leads you into careers as social commentator or writer.

Mercurial

You change your style and even persona more than most, as you play at different roles. You enjoy the trends of fashion, music and may have talent as a shapeshifting actor-type.  You often have a striking look, or are an early adopter with technology.

Your mutable nature allows you to be friends with all kinds of people, but you like to keep a light hold.

You need to keep moving and feel free, and others experience you as a breath of fresh air….

Even though you love to talk, public speaking may be nerve wracking for you. You can become overwhelmed with nerves, and psyche yourself out with racing thoughts.

Learning to relax your high-strung nerves is a lifelong lesson. Meditation or yoga would be an incredible anchoring tool for you. Hematite is a great grounding stone, and a version of your chart ruler, Mercury.

You'll get insights looking at your Mercury sign, as it shows what kind of communicator you are.  Most likely, it will be close to your Sun sign, as they travel close together.

Personality Traits: loquacious, excitable, juggler of activities, childlike, talkative, on the go, wired, fun.

Body and Style: delicate frame, thin, a dandy or waif, nervous tension.
