Would you like to see The Meredith Vieira Show as part of the daytime talk show’s live studio audience? Wondering how you can get a pair of tickets? Curious how much they cost? Well, first off they’re free. You bet your bottom dollar they are (which you won’t have to do because of the freeness of the tickets). Getting a handful of tickets (if you consider four tickets a handful) is relatively easy.

Just follow these simple instructions and you’ll be well on your way.

But before we begin, just remember that the time it takes to get tickets or make a reservation to a taping can vary. In the case of some shows, it can take months – even years – to get tickets. For others, it may take little time at all.

Get tickets to The Meredith Vieira Show:

  • Request tickets online. It’s the only way to get free tickets to The Meredith Vieira Show. You can find the online ticket calendar here.
  • Select the number of tickets you’d like. You can request up to four.
  • Pick the date you’d like to attend. Tickets might be difficult to get, just as an FYI. When we visited the site, many tapings only had room on the wait list.
  • Fill out the online form. Be ready to fill in your personal information (name, email, phone number, location, age). Remember that attendees must be 16 years old or older.
  • It’s not mandatory, but the show also requests a link to your Facebook profile and, if you’d like, a photo of yourself.
  • You can even share your story. Maybe you have a compelling reason to be in the audience. Or maybe you have an interesting story that producers might like to turn into a segment. Who knows? If you do, you have 250 words to tell it.
  • If you have a group of people who would like to attend, you can request tickets for that group via this link. The online form for group tickets is very similar to the form for individual tickets, though it gives you more choices with regard to date and time. You can select your preferred month and taping time (10 a.m .or 2 p.m.).
  • After submitting your request, wait patiently for confirmation that you’ve received the tickets.

NOTE: Many talk shows overbook audience tickets to ensure a full audience. Consider arriving early to the toping to ensure you get a seat. Otherwise, you may have to resort to stand-by.

General Tips

  • No ticket or got there late? You can go stand-by on the day of the taping. Standby tickets are first-come, first-served.
  • All audience members must be 16 years old. Take a photo ID with you to the studio. Most talk shows require a photo ID to enter the taping. Photo ID includes a drivers license, state ID, passport, or military ID.
  • Travel light. Rest assured cameras are not allowed. You may be able to bring small purses, but larger purses bags, backpacks and so forth will likely not be allowed into the show. Cell phones with cameras are probably permitted, but expect to turn those off before entering the studio.
  • Dress nicely. Business casual or trendy/upscale. No hats, no logos of any kinds. Solid, bright colors. Most daytimes shows that feature the audience expect audience members to dress as if they will appear on air.
  • The show tapes at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City. It tapes twice a day – at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. – on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
