Gettysburg College Admissions Overview:

Gettysburg is a somewhat selective school; just over half of those who apply will not be admitted. Students generally need scores and grades well above average to be considered for admission. In addition to an application, applicants will need to submit SAT or ACT scores, a high school transcript, letters of recommendation, and a small application fee.

Gettysburg College is a highly-ranked liberal arts college located in the historic town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The college has a strong teaching focus with a roughly 11 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 18. Gettysburg's strengths in the liberal arts and sciences have earned the college a chapter of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

With a new athletic center, a music conservatory, a professional performing arts center and an institute on public policy, Gettysburg offers its students a wide array of rewarding social and educational experiences. In athletics, the Gettysburg Bullets compete in the NCAA Division III Centennial Conference.

The college fields eleven men's and eleven women's intercollegiate sports.
