SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio Expands Hank Haney Golf Show

SiriusXM Satellite Radio continuously updates, adds, and changes programming options for its almost 30 million subscribers. Here are some of the most recent changes and additions that have been announced:

Sports

SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio (XM channel 92, Sirius channel 208) is now airing Hank Haney Golf Radio 7-days-a-week. Hank along with other golf instructors and personalities provide tips on the game at 10:00 a.m. ET.

The program expands from a previous weekend-only program. Haney is best known as coaching Tiger Woods from 2004 to 2010.

Entertainment

A new weekly show has been added to TODAY Show Radio featuring TODAY Show Executive Producer Don Nash and Co-Executive Producer, Tom Mazzarelli. Both will be giving fans of TODAY a behind-the-scenes experience as to what goes into creating the iconic television program. TODAY Show Confidential airs on Fridays at 2:00 p.m. ET on TODAY Show Radio (channel 108). You can catch a rebroadcast later in the day at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Recently, Howard Stern extended his relationship with SiriusXM announcing a 12-year agreement. Stern will continue to host The Howard Stern Show for five years. His show airs on Howard 100 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. ET. In addition to his commitment to live show, SiriusXM also obtained the right to broadcast Stern audio for an additional 7 years, reaching back to his early days on traditional radio.

Stern’s complementary channel, Howard 101, will also continue to air content.

Politics

Rand Paul may have dropped his bid to be the Republican nominee for President but, before he did Paul spent  and hour doing SiriusXM’s “Town Hall” series. Paul recorded a segment in front of a live audience on January 25th.

If you are interest in politics and the current Presidential race, SiriusXM is promising “…wall-to-wall coverage…unlike anything you’ll find on national radio,” according to Scott Greenstein, President & Chief Content Officer. The service offers three politically-oriented channels: P.O.T.U.S (channel 124) as in “Politics of the United States.” For conservative views check out Patriot, channel 125. For liberal views go to Progress, channel 127. You can also hear political and general news on CNN (channel 116), FOX News Channel (channel 114), FOX News Headlines 24/7 (channel 115) and MSNBC (channel 118).

Music

Symphony Hall (channel 76) recently launched a new concert series called “The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Hour.” This weekly series features concerts from The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in New York City. Concerts are broadcast on Mondays at 12:00 p.m. ET and will repeat on Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. ET. SiriusXM’s Chill features downtempo electronic and deep house featuring artists like Kygo, Duke Dumont, Moby, and Robin Schulz. A new weekly series, “House of Chill,” features guest DJs showcasing some of the best deep house producers worldwide. You can listen on channel 53 and through the SiriusXM App.
