Although strong in all areas of the liberal arts and sciences, Haverford is also noted for its science programs. The school's academic strengths earned it a chapter of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Haverford students have the opportunity to take classes at nearby Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore, and the University of Pennsylvania. Admissions Chances Haverford College has a highly competitive admissions pool with a low acceptance rate and high average SAT/ACT scores. However, Haverford has a holistic admissions process involving other factors beyond your grades and test scores.
