Checkmate -- Tuesday, July 29 -- SUMMER SEASON FINALE

In the season finale of “The Haves and the Have Nots,” Jim Cryer (John Schneider) is confronted by his illegitimate son, Carlos (Adrian Bellani). Meanwhile, Katheryn Cryer’s (Renee Lawless) celebratory dinner party goes awry when Quincy (Medina Islam), the ex of family nemesis Candace (Tika Sumpter), shows up as her increasingly unstable daughter Amanda’s (Jaclyn Betham) date.

  Cryer family friends David (Peter Parros) and Veronica Harrington (Angela Robinson) continue to battle over their son Jeffrey’s (Gavin Houston) lifestyle.  Finally, Candace seeks her revenge on Jim Cryer.

Norman Hewens -- Tuesday, July 22

Jim (John Schneider) saves Wyatt (Aaron O’Connell) from going to jail when a news report claims that there is another individual responsible for the hit-and-run. Also, Jim gets a visit from Carlos, who claims Jim is his father.

Something’s Wrong With Amanda --  Tuesday, July 15

Katheryn (Renee Lawless) panics when she discovers that Amanda (Jaclyn Betham) has left the estate with Quincy. D.A. Sallison continues her pursuit of Wyatt (Aaron O’Connell) and Jim (John Schneider). Meanwhile, Candace (Tika Sumpter) hides out at Jeffery’s (Gavin Houston) apartment.

Again and Again -- Tuesday, July 8

Tensions are high as Jim (John Schneider) plots to clear Wyatt’s (Aaron O’Connell) name, Candace (Tika Sumpter) panics about Quincy, and Veronica (Angela Robinson) catches David (Peter Parros) in a compromising situation.

The Sarandon Hotel -- Tuesday, July 1

After Candace (Tika Sumpter) gets free from her kidnappers, she seeks out the assistance of Warlock to help her get even with Jim Cryer (John Schneider). Also, Jeffery (Gavin Houston) gets seduced by Melissa and has a one-night stand.

The Vulnerable -- Tuesday, June 24 

Jim (John Schneider) finds his fall guy and takes Amanda (Jaclyn Betham) home to get help. Hanna (Crystal Fox) makes plans to testify against Wyatt (Aaron O’Connell,) as Benny (Tyler Lepley) prepares to be released from the hospital.

As Jim (John Schneider) continues to proclaim his son’s innocence, Hanna (Crystal Fox) gets a frightening surprise visit pertaining to Candace’s (Tika Sumpter) whereabouts.

The Confession -- Tuesday, June 3:

In the wake of Wyatt's (Aaron O'Connell) arrest, Jim (John Schneider) conspires a cover-up to save his son.  Benny's (Tyler Lepley) condition improves. Candace (Tika Sumpter) comes clean about her pregnancy.  Veronica (Angela Robinson) continues to push her agenda with Jeffery (Gavin Houston.)

Starting the Race -- Tuesday, March 11: 

Jim (John Schneider) and David's (Peter Parros) campaign event is ruined when Candace (Tika Sumpter) shows up trying to extort money, and Wyatt (Aaron O'Connell) is arrested for the hit-and-run case.

March for Justice -- March 4, 2014:

After the judge's ruling, Hanna (Crystal Fox) begs not to take Benny (Tyler Lepley) off of life support.

Maggie's Plan -- Tuesday, February 25

Jim (John Schneider) prepares to announce his candidacy amidst the turmoil of Wyatt's (Aaron O'Connell) actions and Candace's (Tika Sumpter) threats.

Amanda's Revenge -- February 18:

Amanda (Jaclyn Betham) makes a bold move when she sneaks into the professor's bedroom and taunts him while his family is sleeping.

Candace (Tika Sumpter) shows up in court and represents Hanna (Crystal Fox) to keep Benny (Tyler Lepley) on life support.

Tuesday, February 11:

Jim (John Schneider) informs Wyatt (Aaron O'Connell) that he is going to clean up his mess and keep him out of jail.

Hanna (Crystal Fox) is served with court papers for an emergency hearing.

Tuesday, February 4:

In the Why Didn't You Tell Me episode, as Benny (Tyler Lepley) clings to life, Candace (Tika Sumpter) begs Jim (John Schneider) to move him to a private hospital.

January 28:

As Season 2 unfolds, Jim Cryer mounts a campaign for governor despite escalating family problems and the vengeful actions of his former mistress Candace Young (Tika Sumpter).   Jim's wife despises him; his son Wyatt's (Aaron O'Connell) heroin addiction leads to a terrible crime; and his daughter Amanda (Jaclyn Betham) sinks into a world of delusion. 

Meanwhile, Cryer housekeeper Hanna Young (Crystal Fox) searches for justice regarding a terrible accident involving her son Benny (Tyler Lepley); and rehab counselor Jeffrey Harrington (Gavin Houston) stands up for himself after coming out as gay to his parents David (Peter Parros) and Veronica Harrington (Angela Robinson).
