In many fields, it’s possible to make more than $100,000 a year with an online degree and on-the-job training. Some of the highest-paying occupations—such as medicine and law—require in-person training. However, quite a few high-paying jobs are available to workers with online degrees. Take a look at these high-paying jobs as noted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics and see if any of them is right for you. If you choose to pursue an online degree, make sure the program is accredited. They plan and direct computer-related activities in an organization and implement computer systems to meet company goals. Look for an online bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Management Information Systems and plan to spend a few years in on-the-job training. Many companies require their IT managers to have an advanced degree. An MBA (Master of Business Administration) is suitable for this position and available online. Experience in this field is necessary before advancement to a management position. Strong interpersonal skills are a requirement. Although a bachelor's degree is sufficient for many positions, some jobs require a master's degree. Look for an online bachelor's degree in human resources with courses on conflict management. For some high-level positions, a master's degree in labor relations, business administration, or human resources is necessary.
