Huda is a former writer for ThoughtCo where she wrote about Islam and the Muslim belief and culture. Christine has been researching and writing about Islam for more than 17 years. She wrote The Everything Understanding Islam Book: A Complete and Easy to Read Guide to Muslim Beliefs, Practices, Traditions, and Culture (Everything, 2009). Huda is also a teacher. She taught elementary and primary classes and was head of English instruction at Al-Riyadh Governorate, a Montessori school in Saudi Arabia. She also worked with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB-PYP) and as a vice-principal and college counselor at Advanced Learning Schools, in Saudi Arabia. Huda was a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) evaluation team.
Huda earned a Masters Education (M.Ed.) from Loyola University–Maryland. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Child Development from Oregon State University and an Elementary Teaching Certificate from Montessori Institute of San Diego.
