Idaho Inventors

Gregory Carr founded the first technology company to sell voice mail to telephone companies, co-founded Boston Technology in 1986 and served as the chair of Prodigy, a global Internet provider. In the late 1990s, Carr formed the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University, and became heavily involved in philanthropic efforts in Africa.

Gutzon Borglum (1867 - 1941) was a sculptor who created the monumental presidents' heads at Mount Rushmore.
