On the sixth season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the gang of five reprehensible sociopaths engaged in their typically awful behavior with very few repercussions. The hilariously selfish acts from Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Mac (Rob McElhenney), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson) and Frank (Danny DeVito) included a pregnancy for Dee (to incorporate actress Kaitlin Olson’s real-life pregnancy), marriage and divorce for Dennis and a stint as a janitor for Charlie.

Read on for the full It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 6 episode guide.

The whole gang gives up and just busts open a fire hydrant to cool off.

Charlie storms off because he refuses to be in the gang with Schmitty. Dennis, Mac and Frank try way too hard to impress Schmitty and he ditches them. But when they ask Charlie to return, he’s already moved on. Dee tracks down her old drama teacher, who convinces her to come talk to his class even though she never had any success as an actress. She tries to inspire the students but fails miserably.

“Dee Reynolds: Shaping America’s Youth”
Original Airdate: November 11, 2010

Dee fills in as a substitute for her old drama teacher, and decides to inspire the students by showing them a movie at the bar. Instead of Shakespeare, though, Dennis and Mac line up their homemade version of Lethal Weapon 5, which the students find equally awesome and horrifying. Charlie is still working as a janitor at Dee’s school, and he takes a student under his wing, bringing the young man to the movie screening. After taking the students to a bar and showing them a vulgar, slightly racist movie, Dee and Charlie both get fired from their new jobs.

Dee, Dennis and Mac get Charlie’s dream journal and try to come up with a party based on his weird fantasies.

It turns out it was really Frank’s birthday, and he was trying to get them to plan a party based on his interests. Instead, they actually come up with a party that Charlie really appreciates.

After deciding that none of the candidates are suitable fathers, Mac, Charlie and Dennis decide they want to help raise the baby after all. They’re disappointed when they find out that Dee was just acting as a surrogate for Carmen the transsexual and her husband, and the baby isn’t even hers.
