James Scott is a popular British actor best known for his work on ABC and NBC hit drama and soap opera shows like All My Children (2004-2006) and Days of Our Lives (2006-2014). Scott kicked off his career in the music industry as a disc jockey and also dabbled in community theatre before being picked up by Storm Modeling Management, an agency which also represented models like Kate Moss and Elle Macpherson.

He received two nominations for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2010 and 2011 in the category, "Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series," and was named TV Guide Canada’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2011.

Marriage With Kaitlin

Considered the daytime world's most handsome bachelor for quite some time, the bachelor no more married his lovely and longtime girlfriend Kaitlin Robinson in 2015. Robinson is a light coach and clinical psychotherapist out of Los Angeles who helps people with their personal challenges. Kaitlin also identifies as a humanist and storyteller with a love for writing and photography. She is passionate about guiding people toward their true desires through one-on-one coaching, and as a professional marriage and family therapist, Robinson has combined Western psychology and Eastern philosophy to create a unique program with a holistic approach to wellness.

How They Met

Scott was introduced to Kaitlin by Patti Stanger, star of the Bravo network's TV series The Millionaire Matchmaker (2008-2015). The American businesswoman and reality television personality are best known for her matchmaking reality show which helps wealthy and demanding men and women find their long-life partner.

Scott met Stanger when she appeared as a guest on an episode of Days of our Lives in 2011. Stanger, who has appeared on the soap six times, got to know the actor when she played EJ's date in 2011. Fans will recall that she was the woman on EJ's arm when he attended the opening of the Horton Square. Little did Scott know at the time that an onscreen "date" would eventually lead to him finding his future wife.

Stanger broke the news about the couple's nuptials on Twitter: "Congrats to my matched couple @DaysofourLives @IamJamesScott his bride #Kaitlin officiating wedding @TaraSutphen." In her post, she also added a link to a picture taken before the ceremony, here.

Scott's Love Life

Scott was previously engaged to model and actress Meyghan Hill. They began dating in 2006 and were engaged after one year. In fact, it is rumored that they were dating for four years, up until their breakup in 2010, which reasoning has remained a mystery since.

Alas, Scott and Robinson began dating in 2011 before happily marrying in 2015. Although most of their relationship remains in private, they have been known to publicly attend popular events together. For example, in the last few years, they have gone to the Catalina Film Festival together in 2012, and Robinson was Scott's date to the Daytime Emmy Awards in 2013.
