Jupiter is about thriving, and the element of your Jupiter sign the way that happens.

With a fire sign Jupiter you surge ahead enthusiastically by being a risk-taker, and in water, you swim in the emotional currents. In air signs, Jupiter comes alive in the world of ideas, while earth signs have a sensual nature, sensing their way through the material plane.

Your Jupiter element shows just how new opportunities come your way.

It’s the mode of creativity you’re naturally drawn to, as the path to make the most of your innate abilities.  You'll also want to check out your Jupiter's modus operandi or quality.

Those with Jupiter in fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) are lit from within, and geared toward action. They’ve often got big personalities that infuse the scene with animated, high drama and ambition.

If your Jupiter is in a water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces), you’re led by feelings, and gather impressions and memories in your quest for meaning. You’re sensitive to the emotional atmosphere, and tuned in to what goes unsaid. This gifts you with the ability to make wise intuitive decisions about the future.

The air sign Jupiter (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini) is vitalized by a constant stream of fresh ideas. You’re happiest in stimulating social settings with sharp minds that can keep up with you.

If your Jupiter is in an earth sign (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo), you flourish in stable, fertile ground.

You're able to dig into projects with substance, and make the most of them. You like to work hard, to build accomplished mastery in an area, and to feel part of the natural world.

When Jupiter is in fire and air signs, there’s a tendency to surge forward into the new. In contrast, water and earth signs take a more cautious approach, as receptive signs.

Earth and water are also feminine signs, the latter two tend to grow inwardly, and through reinforcing what’s already in place. But if they are cardinal signs, Cancer or Capricorn, they also have a strong initiatory spirit.
