Katie Doyle

From her first run at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort to her favorite run at Val d'Isere in the Rhône-Alpes, some of Katie's favorite moments in life are when her skis are on the snow and the sun is shining. A writer at heart, Katie lives for the moments when a good story pops in her head – especially when it happens on the mountain.

Katie grew up skiing the east, and completed her Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) teaching certification at Killington Ski Resort. She then expanded her skiing boundaries west, exploring a multitude of mountains with her father, also a ski writer. She attained her North America Snowsports Journalist (NASJA) certification in 2012.

Katie graduated summa cum laude from Boston University's College of Communication, with a B.S. in Journalism. She also holds a PSIA ski instruction certification and is an accredited NASJA journalist.
